The first meeting of the St. Ambrose LGBTQIA+ Outreach group will be on November 11 from 1-3pm in Barcelona House.

We will begin with a kickoff lunch and continue with a conversation around defining our goals. We will also be discussing our group name.

Saint Ambrose at Boulder Pride Fest June 11

St. Ambrose hosted a booth at the June 11 Boulder Pride Festival. We had a wonderful time spreading God’s love. “All for love and love for all.”

We are committed to the vital work of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being Leadership is a gift from God and can be expressed by all people in our church, regardless of gender, sexual identity, or orientation.

We Believe that God Loves Us All – No Exceptions.

In the first century, Jesus of Nazareth inspired a new and life-changing movement: a community of people whose lives were centered on Jesus and committed to living God’s way of unconditional, unselfish, sacrificial, and redemptive love. As Episcopalians, we believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer. We believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose life, death and resurrection saved the world.

We are committed to the vital work of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being; women and men, gay, straight and trans, serve as bishops, priests and deacons in the Episcopal Church. Lay people and clergy serve together as leaders at all levels of our church. Leadership is a gift from God and can be expressed by all people in our church, regardless of gender, sexual identity, or orientation.

The people of St. Ambrose Episcopal Church are committed to the full welcome and inclusion of LGBTQIA siblings in our Church.

To our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual brothers, sisters, and siblings: St. Ambrose Episcopal Church welcomes you!

St. Ambrose Episcopal Church welcomes same-sex marriage ceremonies! At the 2018 meeting of the General Convention Deputies and Bishops approved a resolution giving all Episcopalians the ability to be married by their priests in their home churches. The Resolution gives full access to two marriage rites for same-sex and opposite-sex couples.

Rev. Anne can also perform a Service of Renaming, intended for “when an event or experience leads a baptized person to take or be given a new name.” This service can be used to celebrate a transgender individual taking a new name. Read more in Episcopal News Service (ENS) article, Celebrating a New Name and Affirming Authentic Identity for Transgender Episcopalians.
